Winter wreaths on old wood, a candle in the window, days short and growing dark.
A time of remembrance and celebration.
My best wishes to all with hope for the new year.

The Slow Fall of Time
We are last leaves
holding fast to the branch
hoping for a little more
The sun cut low glowing
golden through woods stark
the last warmth of this day
We are new formed snow
crystalline and pure sparkling
in winter sun
Bringing the heavens close
as we descend oh so quietly
on this good night
We are the slow fall of time
measured not but entered fully
embraced by all and all embraced
